Mideast peace: Netanyahu kicks vigilant EU from behind!

-Dr. Abdul Ruff

Like all colonialist nations occupying alien nations and persecute and kill the people as part of imperialist ideology, Israel occupies Palestine territories with US backing and European support. In order to continue occupation of Palestine, Israel woos every nation, both colonialist, imperialist and normal nations to support its terror cause and sells them terror goods of t its own make and imported from USA and European reduced rates. India occupying neighboring Jammu Kashmir, is one of latest friends of Israel, benefiting for a so-called strategic military deal. .
Unable to get European leaders on Zionist board as it expected, Israel on November 29 has boldly suspended all contacts with European Union bodies involved in peace efforts with the Palestinians after the bloc started requiring the labeling of exports from Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
A government statement said that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the foreign ministry to carry out a reassessment of the involvement of EU bodies in everything that is connected to the diplomatic process with the Palestinians. This inquiry was necessary for Netanyahu to cancel or suspend the EU involvement for peace process in Mideast as Israeli governing hawks do not want any peace deal with Palestinians that would eventually end Israeli occupation and crimes against humanity, leading peaceful atmosphere in Mideast. Israeli military, with the backing of US Pentagon, wants to occupy Palestine territories and kill Palestinians to affect a holocaust. Already essentially fascist Israel controls not only Palestine territories by terror blockades and tall persecutional walls but also even water resources of Palestine territories , making the people of Palestine suffer without enough water.
Having shown extra hurry, Netanyahu has ordered a suspension of diplomatic contacts with the EU and its representatives in this matter until completion of the reassessment.
The EU considers all illegal Israeli settlements illegal under international law while Israel argues it has a right to occupy nations and build colonies that serve the Israelis.
Britain, Belgium and Denmark already affix labels to Israeli goods, differentiating between those from Israel proper and those, particularly fruit and vegetables, that come from the Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank. Following the decision, all 28 EU member states will have to apply the same labeling.

USA shields Israeli crimes, including settlements inside Palestine. The EU published new guidelines on Nov. 11 for labeling products made in illegal Israeli settlements, a move Brussels said was technical but which Israel branded “discriminatory” and damaging to peace efforts with the Palestinians. Drawn up over three years by the European Commission, the guidelines mean Israeli producers must explicitly label farm goods and other products that come from illegal settlements in Palestine built on land occupied by Israel if they are sold in the European Union.
The EU’s position is that the lands Israel has occupied since the 1967 Middle East war – including the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights – are not part of the internationally recognised borders of Israel. As such, goods from there cannot be labeled “Made in Israel” and should be labeled as coming from settlements, which the EU considers illegal under international law.
After the EU announcement, a terrified Netanyahu called it “hypocritical and a double standard”, saying the EU was not taking similar steps in hundreds of territorial conflicts elsewhere in the world. “The European Union should be ashamed of itself,” he said while on an official visit in Washington earlier this month for special dinners with US leaders and powerful Zionist lobbyists who get paid big for their Israeli terror services.
The development of settlements has been one of the obstacles to negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians. Hypocritical US-backed peace talks stalled in April 2014. “It’s an indication of origin, not a warning label,” the EU ambassador to Israel, Lars Faaborg-Andersen, told Reuters after the bloc’s decision was announced.
Israel’s economy ministry estimated this would affect goods worth about $50 million a year, including grapes and dates, wine, poultry, honey, olive oil and cosmetics made from Dead Sea minerals. That is around a fifth of the $200-$300 million worth of goods produced in settlements each year, but a drop in the ocean next to the $30 billion of goods and services traded annually between Israel and the European Union.
Israeli farmers and wine growers in the West Bank have expressed worry about the impact on their business and some have begun diversifying into markets in Russia and Asia to escape EU rules. In its statement, the Israeli foreign ministry said contacts with individual EU countries – it named Germany, France and Britain – would not be affected by Sunday’s announcement.
A ministry official said Israel would cease assisting EU-sponsored projects intended for the Palestinians, but no specific instances or bodies were named.
Israel ill-treats and harasses Arab Muslims in Israel. Meanwhile, an Arab Israeli Muslim leader Sheikh Raed Salah, seen by Israel as a powerful voice stoking Palestinian anger over a Jerusalem holy site, was ordered jailed for 11 months last week for comments he made in 2007. Sheikh Raed Salah, leader of the Islamic Movement’s northern section was convicted for incitement to violence in 2013, the Justice Ministry said, charges he denied. His attorney said he would appeal against the sentence.
Israeli PM Netanyahu has said he will seek to outlaw the Islamic Movement’s northern section, which he says has been encouraging attacks by Palestinians and Israeli Arabs in a wave of violence that began on October 1.
The Islamic Movement has said all its activities are lawful. Palestinians are angered over what they see as Jewish encroachment at the al-Aqsa mosque compound. The shrine is the third holiest in Islam and the complex is revered in Judaism as the site of two destroyed biblical temples. “Prison will not scare us and we will continue to defend the Aqsa mosque,” Saleh told reporters at the court, where supporters had gathered, some of them chanting “with souls and blood we redeem you, Aqsa.”
The Jerusalem District Court upheld a previous court sentence, appealed by both Saleh and the prosecutors who said that in 2007, during a sermon in East Jerusalem, Saleh had evoked anti-Semitic imagery dating back to the Middle Ages.
Saleh has previously been imprisoned in Israel for scuffling with police near al-Aqsa and being convicted of sending money to needy Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, which Israeli prosecutors said was to be used by anti-Israel militant groups.
The Islamic Movement, which runs its own Islamic educational and religious services, has been at the forefront of protests against Israeli government policies towards its Arab minority and Palestinians in the occupied territories.
Netanyahu’s bid to outlaw the organisation could be shot down by legal experts and the Shin Bet, Israel’s security service, has said the move could end up sparking further violence. Omar Khamayseh, Salah’s lawyer, said the Sheikh was to begin his prison sentence on November 15.

While USA terrorizes Muslims in secret prisons, its ally Israel does it quite openly under US shield – it attacks and kills Palestinians, including children and Arab Muslims in Israel. UN and UNSC, operating as US agents, refuse to act.

EU enforcement would possible make Israel see reasons to become a normal nation by renouncing state terror policies, and allowing Palestinians to make a sovereign state for themselves to live in peace with neighbors, including now a terrorist Israel.
